Famous casino provider FSB Technology UK Limited is in trouble. The United Kingdom Gambling Commission has commenced a review against it. FSB seems to have violated some regulations and thus it is being reviewed under section 116 of Gambling Act of UK.

The Section 116 of Gambling Act, 2005 gives the United Kingdom Gambling Commission the right to open a review whenever they get a report about any gambling company operating under the Commission’s license to have been offering services that are illegal and not covered by their operating license. Reports like this can also be sent the UK Gambling Commission if the license holder has ‘acquired a conviction’ or if the nation’s regulatory body doubts that the company is unbefitting to carry on offering its licensed undertakings.

Post this incident, FSB has willingly suspended all its undertakings on the Blackbet website. However, this doesn’t mean the company cannot pay out its users. UKGC informed all the customers who had any questions related to their accounts to get in touch with the operator directly by contacting them through their official email. They have made their email address available for all types of customer queries.

This is the second big issue where casino provider FSB Technology UK Limited’s white-label partners are involved in August 2019. Last week, 1xBet also an online gambling company has to suspend its operations in the United Kingdom when an investigation was launched against them. As per the accusations, the worldwide operations of the company comprised of running ads on dodgy video file-sharing websites, live cockfight betting and operating the casino with topless croupiers (dealers) conducting the games.

  • The review of 1xBet is already under process and UKGC is yet to present any reports on their progress of the investigation.

Blackbet website has left a message for all its customers on their UK Site

Presently, blackbet.co.uk is not operating. If you visit their website, you will find a message clarifying that the company has taken “the decision to suspend all gambling activities on this site for the foreseeable future,” for regulatory purposes. Apologizing for the situation they assured their customers that all withdrawals could be made from ‘My Account/Withdrawals’. The deadline to withdraw unsettled bets is 11:59 pm Tuesday which is August 27, 2019. Thereafter any unclaimed bets would be void.

  • Blackbet is fully operational for all the Nigerian customers and is running smoothly with all the online games intact.

The online gambling company Blackbet began working at the end of 2017. The teaser campaign that they had released before it began working was quite different than what they actually offered in the teaser. Blackbet allegedly had to offer ‘ethnic sports betting’ to its customers; instead, it began operating as an online gaming website.

As per the reports of eGaming Revnue, FSB Technology’s white-label partner, QuinnBet was also facing charges of suspension. QuinnBet was also launched in 2017 and the reason for their UK facing operations suspension was because of the improper source of funding.
