Two days ago, the developer launched the latest addition to its award-winning slots portfolio, the impressively-looking slot called Wilderland. The slot takes players to an enchanted forest, filled with elven huntresses that take players to the secret treasures.

When you first load Wilderland, you will see that NetEnt outdid itself in terms of visuals. The slot is a real masterpiece. Thanks to the artsy imagery, powerful animations, glowing background and symbols and magical sounds, you can feel the game. Yes, that’s right, you can feel the magic arising from all sides, and the symbols only add to that intriguing atmosphere.
You will see the playing card suits-shaped leaves, reflecting the colours of the four seasons, then the fox, the bow and arrow, the pendant and the flower ring, all with a silver frame, representing the higher-paying symbols. The elven huntress is the highest-paying one, giving you a payout of 6x the stake.
In addition to the regular symbols, you will see 4 different Wilds on the reels. The regular Wild, which replaces for all symbols, is presented with the letter W and appears both in the base and bonus game. When two or three Wilds land next to each other in the Activation Zone, which is the highlighted area over the middle row, they trigger the Forest Treasure.
These regular Wilds will then transform into one of the Walking Wilds. There is the Expanding Walking Wild, made out of three Stacked Wilds, then the 2x Multiplier Walking Wild and the Scatter Walking Wild. At the start of each spin in the Forest Treasure, the Walking Wilds shift one reel to the left, until they walk off the grid completely. When the Expanding Walking Wild disappears and no other Walking Wilds are on the reels, it triggers the Magic Wild feature, which makes the Stacked Wilds reappear on the last reel.
The Free Spins are triggered with 3 or more regular Scatters or 3 or more Scatter Walking Wilds. If triggered by 3, you get a Walking Wild on the last reel, if triggered with more, you get an extra Walking Wild and 2x Walking Wild on the 5th reel.
Activation Zone gets boosted during the Free Spins, covering all three rows. Two Wilds anywhere on the reels trigger the Forest Treasure, while the Magic Wild can be triggered with any Walking Wild disappearing from the first reel.

Bryan Upton, NetEnt’s Director of Games said that this title was his personal favourite. He was particularly excited about the Walking Wilds, explaining that it was a unique feature, simple yet powerful enough to provide players with a constant feeling of thrill and excitement.
Stating that he and everyone NetEnt were looking forward to players’ response to this title. Upton finished his statement saying that he strongly believed that with its Expanding Stacks, rich theme and Multipliers, Wilderland would be a huge title for the developer for this year.
